The Sophisticated Nomad, located in the beautiful Appalachian Highlands of Northeast Tennessee, offers a variety of tent rentals to fit your glamping needs. Whether you are more of a DIY’er and want to pick up a tent only option or have a tent delivered to your site and glam’d or you’re hosting an event or wedding and really want to wow your guests with glamping tents, we can accommodate your personalized requests.

We’ve created a BYOG (Build Your Own Glamping) Option for you DIY’ers that want the tent only option, with a few of the bells and whistles. OR if you’re looking for a Backyard or Garden Glamping experience with all of the amenities, we can create that as well!
Our tent only option is available for pick-ups only in Johnson City, Tennessee for the 450 Nomad Series Only. Canvas Tent Rates start at $99.00 plus tax and include the tent, instructions, mallet, and hardware you’ll need for your tent installations on your own site. Our rates are for up to 2 nights, but we do offer discounted rates for additional nights during the same rental period.
Delivery/setup can be added to the Tent Only Rental for $85.00 within a 30-minute radius of Johnson City, Tennessee. Travel fees apply if the setup site is further away and more than one tent is rented.

Canvas Tent Rates start at $345.00 plus tax per tent (AND UP) based on size, style and numbers of the tents selected. Renting multiple tents or need longer than 2 nights? You may qualify for a multi-tent and extended rate discount . Our rates are based on a 2 night rental and includes delivery and setup within 30 minutes from Johnson City/Tri-Cities area.
Each high-quality tent provides your choice of a Premium Queen air mattress or 2 Twin Size Air Mattresses, both with mattress covers. You will also receive premium bedding: Pillows, Sheets, 1 Blanket and a throw blanket. Also included are a welcome mat, area rug with additional throw rugs, 2 chairs, side table lantern/lamp, toss pillows and a hanging mirror. We also include 1 wastebasket with 2 liners for your rental.
AND best of all, we have a variety of themes and décor to fit your style! From Boho Chic to Rustic-Natural, Fun and Colorful, we have the look that will make your Glamping experience AMAZING!
